Welcome to BREDD
The BitterRoot Economic Development District, Inc (BREDD) is the federally designated economic development district for Western Montana Region covering Ravalli, Mineral, and Missoula counties. BREDD is responsible for regional economic development planning and collaborates with various private and public sector agencies to accomplish this goal. BREDD brings together the private and public sectors in a partnership necessary to provide a coordinated strategy and an ongoing economic development program for the region.

Thank you for making our Green Recovery workshop a great sucess! We had over 100 participants and had great discussions around Fuel and Forest, Clean Water and Environmental Remediation, Green Infrastructure, Energy Efficiency and Sutainability, Education and Training. A half day workshop looking at programs within the Recovery Act that focus on green jobs and the green economy. The workshop will develop partnerships and networks essential for growing the green economy in the region. The workshop will start with informative presentations from federal, state, and local agencies administering programs that will deliver the money attached to green jobs in the Recovery Act. The informative Panels will be followed by break out session around different funding opportunity categories.
