SBA ANNOUNCES STATEWIDE SMALL BUSINESS RECOVERY ACT WORKSHOP  

 The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) is proud to announce a conference specially for entrepreneurs, professionals, and prospective business owners.  This event, sponsored by SBA and the Missoula Small Business Development Center, will be held June 5, 2009 in conjunction with the Small Business Week Awards luncheon, at the Hilton Garden Inn, Missoula. 

Registration for the workshop is $30.00, which includes the Small Business Week luncheon.  Information can be obtained by calling the SBA Montana District Office at (406) 441-1081 or visiting www.sba.gov/mt. Registration deadline is May 27th.

Creating partnerships and jobs around Montana's clean energy future.

A half day workshop looking at programs within the Recovery Act that focus on green jobs and the green economy. The workshop will develop partnerships and networks essential for growing the green economy in the region. The workshop will start with informative presentations from federal, state, and local agencies administering programs that will deliver the money attached to green jobs in the Recovery Act. The informative Panels will be followed by break out session around different funding opportunity categories.
